About
SimEX Pay is built in the UK by a small team, for the independent businesses that keep our high streets going: restaurants, takeaways, salons, clinics, taxis and shops. One platform for taking payments, taking orders and keeping the books, in the language you actually think in.
Where we started
SimEX Pay grew out of something we kept seeing up close: owners running a till all day in a language they did not think in, then losing their evenings to paperwork the till should have done for them. The tools existed. They just were not built for these businesses, in these languages, at this size.
So we started building the tool we wished they had. Not a stack of apps that do not talk to each other, but one place where the payment, the order and the bookkeeping are the same piece of work.
One platform, not five apps
Everything connects, so a sale entered once is a sale accounted for.
- Payments: card payments built on Stripe. The processing, the card security and the payouts are Stripe's job, not yours.
- An allergen-aware QR menu: customers browse on their phone, with allergen information part of the menu itself, not a footnote.
- Self-order: customers order for themselves, straight from the menu.
- Books that keep themselves: sales flow into your accounting through our Sage integration, or out as CSV for whoever does your books.
Fluent in four languages
The whole platform works in English, Turkish, Hindi and Chinese. Not a translated afterthought: four first-class languages. You should not have to run your business in your second language just because your software insists on it.
Where we are now
We are onboarding our first UK pilot merchants in 2026, working closely with each one and shaping the product around what real service days demand.
There is no monthly fee and no contract. If you run an independent business and this sounds like it was built for you, it was. We would love to hear from you.
